I hate being sick. Colds are awful. Now I know they’re not as bad as other things, but they just get me on edge.

Typically when I’m ill there’s a bad day where I get nothing done. I sleep and watch TV. Usually I play Guild Wars. Video games are always good when you’re sick. They keep you occupied. I try hard to work from home but it can be tough. I probably should be working now. That’s one of the issues with being a composer and working from home…I can always work. Now one shouldn’t be working all the time. That’s just unhealthy. So I have to watch myself. I can’t work too much all the time. Being efficient is one thing…being a workaholic is another.
So ya, I’ve been working on the Trombone Sonata. It’s going well. Cleaned it up today, and I’m very excited to hear Jeff play it!

So I’m making tea. Seems like a good thing to drink while sick. I’ve missed stuff too, that’s the worst. I missed lessons, meetings, teachings…helping friends out. There’s no benefit.

I’m sick of WordPress spam, it’s so annoying. Oh and SOPA/PIPA…actually I won’t get started on that. Anyways, listen to Before the ship goes down by The Material.
